Come celebrate, enjoy a night dancing to music that will move your feet as you bring in 2023!

Don Williams Sr. is the keyboardist from the Commodores. He and his band will be performing songs from the Commodores along with other great music.

Don Williams Sr. has been building a reputation as a true visionary in the music scene. Starting out creating music and playing gigs in the Cleveland Oh. area, Don Williams Sr. quickly built a devoted fanbase. Rocking dance floors and opening minds ever since, this artist draws crowds from far and wide, and continues to spread musical light in every new destination. Get in touch to learn more about this shining talent and upcoming gigs.

Don Williams Sr. is truly one of the most authentic keyboardists of our time. A 21st century George Duke but with his own twist on modern day soul. His music is a diverse mix of many musical influences derived from personal relationships he has had over the years. "I've learned from my mistakes, enough to be able to put that feeling into my music. I would like to think that people will listen and relate to it a lot better."

Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Don Williams began his career at the age of nine. While in elementary & middle school Don taught himself to play the keyboards, violin, saxophone, flute, drums, and bass guitar. Don got his early inspiration from watching the pianist at church and the way she hypnotized the listeners. Don wanted to move people that same way.

In 1979 while in the military on the U.S.S. Saratoga CV - 60, Don's captain,

Cpt. Flatley, discovered he played piano and named him part of his personal entertainment. The group was called Rainbow Bridge. Don was in this band for 3 years.

Once out of the military in 1982 Don played with lots of local acts, getting his musical talents prepared for what lied ahead. During the summer of 1984 Don was asked to audition with a local group who he was told had a possible recording deal. Don made the audition and went home. One half hour later he received a phone call asking him to come back to the audition.

It turned out the audition was for Dennis Edwards of the Legendary Temptations. In 1984 he toured with Dennis Edwards and became Musical Director and Road Manager after one year of a seven-year tour.

In 1995 Don Williams Sr. tried out for another act and they were called

Men at Large, a group that was under management by Gerald LeVert.

So from 1995-1997 Don goes on Tour again.

In 1999 Don Williams Sr. receives a phone call he will never forget. He was asked over the telephone to play a couple of bars of " Easy" by the Commodores. It turns out it was the Grammy Award Winning Group, The COMMODORES!!

So from 1999 -2002 Don goes on Tour again solidifying his name in history forever.

I would like to thank each and every one of you that have participated, listened & enjoyed my music. I will continue to strive hard at what I do.

Be on the look out for my new book,

“ MOST LIKELY NOT TO SUCCEED “

Don Williams Sr.
